By Abdulsalam Muhammad KANO – A torrential rain Sunday has washed off no fewer than 50 houses in Kano metropolis. The affected areas include Makasa, Garangamawa, Magashi and Kasuwa kurmi where report had it an average of 8 houses were lost the flood. Other areas affected within the metropolis also includes Adakawa, Chedi, Hotoro, Kawo and Badawa areas. Vanguard learnt that Chedi was worst hit as nearly all houses on this densly populated were flooded culminating on loss of personal effect that was swept away by ravaging flood.
